Late summer backyard wedding
Zoe and John’s summer backyard wedding took place at John’s family home, with the ceremony set on the front circle drive. We created a floral arch tucked into the climbing roses around the front doors so it felt natural to the space and like the garden was part of the design.
The reception was under a sailcloth tent overlooking the pool, complete with floral pool floats for a fun summer touch. The whole house smelled incredible all day from the fresh rolls rising in the kitchen that Laura, the groom’s mother, was baking for dinner.
The flowers were bright, colorful, and full of personality — just like Zoe. We used zinnias, dahlias, and other cheerful summer garden blooms in vibrant shades throughout the day.
